We want to share a few updates about our A.C.E. dating & friendship app with you.
A.C.E. is OUT! No more beta.
After nearly a year of beta testing with a lot of wonderful fellow aces, we’ve finally come to a point where we’re confident the app will be enjoyable and (mostly) free from bugs. If you do end up catching a bug, you know where to find us. As many of you will know by now, we’ll fix them as soon as we can!
A.C.E. stays free but offers extras in paid plan to support further development
First and most importantly: the app will remain free to use. Core features will (always!) continue to be free, so you can still search for aces, view profiles, have unlimited matches and messages, without needing to pay. The paid plan is simply there for those who want a few extra features and/or want to support us. That way we can improve the app and market it so more aces will find it. Paid features include advanced filters, incognito mode and seeing a list of people who have liked you.
We’ve worked really hard to keep pricing as low as possible. Compared to other apps, we’re significantly more affordable (as it should be). For example, OkCupid charges around $35 per month for full access, while our plan is $5.99 per month, or just $3.50 per month if you choose the yearly option at $39.99. That means you’re paying up to 10x less. We didn’t just pull this number out of nowhere. As many of you know from when we still had a dating site: we wanted the price to be no more than a piece of cake a month (if you know you know🍰).
Our goal has always been to make this space available to as many people as possible. By keeping costs low, we hope more people all around the world can join and stay. As more people come in, the experience improves for everyone as you can make more connections, more conversations, and more chances to find friends, partners, and anything in between.
